If you are looking for an all-cotton tank top made of thicker, more durable material, the Gildan Softstyle Tank Top is for you. This is a Eurofit style tank top with rib knit trim applied to the neckline and armholes. The 100% cotton fabric is made of Deluxe 30s Softstyle yarns. Cotton is famous for its softness and breathability - the perfect fabric for a tank top. To counter the tendency of cotton to shrink, the fabric of this garment has been pre-shrunk. You might be interested to know that jersey knit wool has been around since medieval times. Nowadays we have jersey knit cotton which is a stretchy, breathable, soft, absorbent and well-structured fabric. The same weaving style is used in this tank top. Twin needle stitching has been applied to the bottom hem. This uses three threads per stitch to counter fraying.
